The Collective disbanded after he left the group and other members are now pursuing solo careers just like Singe. However, William still nursed a dream of making it big on his own, and on the 18th of February 2015, the artist declared on his Facebook page that he was officially leaving the boy band to launch his career as a soloist. William Singe was featured in a 2013 single Forgot You by Bella Ferraro who eventually contested alongside William in X Factor Australia. The group also organized and went on a tour. The album which opened at #11 on the ARIA Albums Chart still went ahead to win gold certification. The band had some measure of success as they were able to release a mini-album on the 14th of December 2012. The group came third at the end of the show and was later signed up by Sony Music Australia.
